Can you believe it? These little berries are like gold in Idyllwild,CA! I think there are less than 50 in a box for $4.99. That's 10 cents each! And to think I dumped the whole box on my cereal except the 5 I ate while posing them to paint! I should be charging more than $20.00 for the painting considering modeling fee, paint and easel. Can you imagine spending 4 or 5 hours a day in this 10 x 12 ft. shanty in freezing weather with a little electric heater? Or an electric fan on sweltering summer days? But I do have a multicolored sink for cleaning brushes and who needs a northern exposure now that we have electric lights? And at least I don't have this mess on the dining room table.
